ArtFUNdamentals: A multi-age art curriculum

I am using my 15 years of of experience in teaching art, both in public school and in my home, to create a multi-age art curriculum for homeschoolers and anyone who wants to learn how to draw and create art better.  Once it is complete, it will be available on this site.

ArtFUNdamentals will have elementary, intermediate and high school levels for each lesson so if you have children at different levels, they can use the same or similar materials and cover the same basic concepts, just at different levels of sophistication.

This would also be a great time-saving resource for art teachers or classroom teachers.

Until I have the time to devote to this project, here are some other great art resources I recommend:

Usborne Books

Usborne Books are a great part of any art curriculum. The vivid illustrations capture the students' attention. Step by step instructions give students confidence while inspiring creativity in develop their own ideas further. Informational text is broken down in bit-size pieces with great illustrations so information is stored and retained better. The internet links to hands-on activities and other information re-enforces concepts for greater understanding. Usborne also has Kid Kits which include the necessary art supplies to do the activities in their books. Students enjoy learning and remember more of what they learn!
